The Light Machine and Wolf Blitzer

ImageToday’s first rec is the new EP from Hyannis-based psych rockers The Light Machine. The album, Wet Sun Light Show, is twenty minutes of mind-bending sound with just enough hold in the familiar to keep you from floating off into the ether. The vocals act as almost another instrument, the sparse lyrics weaving through a dramatic tapestry of layers and timbres. An awesome debut from a band I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of in the future.
